The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) has launched a public consultation seeking views on whether the country’s mobile market has changed enough to warrant regulatory intervention in the form of developing national guidelines for wireless services. The CRTC said the consultation is in response to receiving several applications suggesting that such guidelines be established.
