British fixed line incumbent BT has announced the launch of a range of speed increases for its fibre-optic broadband service ‘BT Infinity’. From today (12 April) customers signing up to the company’s new ‘BT Infinity 2’ package will be able to experience maximum download speeds of up to 76Mbps, double the 38Mbps theoretical download rate of its ‘Infinity 1’ product, while the maximum upload speed for the new fibre-optic package is 19Mbps
