Virgin Mobile France set to take on Free in quad-play and mobile markets

French mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) Virgin Mobile, which is part of the Omea Telecom group, has announced the launch of its first quadruple-play offering, combining fixed voice, internet access, TV service and mobile telephony. The new bundle, dubbed ‘H@ppy’, offers unlimited fixed line calls across France and to more than 100 international destinations, a 25Mbps ADSL connection, up to 300 TV channels, plus two hours of mobile-to-mobile calls and unlimited SMS messages for EUR29.99 (USD39.95) a month.
