Bangladeshi state-owned mobile operator Teletalk, which is scheduled to launch 3G trial services on 26 March 2012, says that it will have an initial capacity for 1.7 million users. Teletalk is currently the smallest GSM provider in the country with around 1.25 million 2G customers, but managing director Mujibur Rahman told bdnews24.com that it aims to dramatically increase its rate of new customer additions from around 50,000 users every month currently to arrive at around three million subscribers by March.
