Verizon Wireless has announced the introduction of ‘HomeFusion Broadband’, a new service that leverages its Long Term Evolution (LTE) network to provide a reliable internet solution for households in areas with limited fixed line broadband connectivity options. HomeFusion will see Verizon’s LTE network delivered to a cylinder-shaped antenna which transmits the signal to a broadband router inside the home; the router can connect up to four wired and at least 20 wireless devices inside the home via Wi-Fi. Customers can choose from several usage-based plans, beginning at USD59.99 monthly access for 10GB of data; a one-time equipment fee of USD199.99 applies, but installation is free
