Brunei’s telecoms watchdog, the Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry (AITI), has released a public consultation paper entitled ‘Developing a Converged Telecommunications and Media Regulatory Framework for Brunei Darussalam Implementation of a New Licensing Structure’, with submissions welcomed for the next month. The project is intended to review the country’s current telecoms licensing framework, in view of the rapidly changing technology landscape, with particular reference to convergence across the telecoms and broadcasting sectors
