Macedonian fixed and mobile operator ONE (including on.net and Cosmofon) has reported negative earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) of EUR2.308 million (USD2.8 million) for the first three months of this year, an improvement on negative EBIT of EUR5.7 million in the same period a year ago. ONE, which is owned by Slovenia’s Telekom Slovenije, reported first-quarter revenues of EUR16.374 million for the period under review, down from EUR16.660 million in 1Q11, although earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 69% year-on-year to EUR1.552 million from EUR919 million previously
