CST launches 3G network

Portugal Telecom’s subsidiary in Sao Tome and Principe, Companhia Santomense de Telecomunicacoes (CST), has announced the commercial launch of its third-generation network on the two islands, MacauHub reports. The launch follows a six-week test period of the 3G service, which began in February, and forms part of an initial investment of USD3 million. Subscribers are able to access new services such as mobile broadband and videocalling
